MAPS' COVID-19 Update
Published By: MAPS Web Admin | Date: Mar 23, 2020
Our country is experiencing unprecedented times as it deals with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We want you to know that we are doing our part to keep our employees and our customers safe with precautions taken to reduce the transmission of COVID-19. Our products, services, support, and business processes that you rely on us to source and support continue to be fully available, operational, and delivered in the safest way possible. We want you to know a little more of what we are doing to accomplish this.
We have and are supporting clean environments in accordance with the CDC and local health officials in order to be as proactive with this evolving information and our resources so as best to continually safeguard our employees and customers in this fluid and fast-moving situation. Our daily cleaning routines continue to be of primary importance, including increased cleaning of equipment and work stations, hand washing, and use of hand sanitizer.
We previously initiated technological infrastructure investments necessary to implement secure software and technology tools as required for employees to have remote access to the corporate systems to ensure business continuity for both you and us. We have implemented remote working conditions and the employees who remain at our key operating locations will continue to take all necessary precautions of social-distancing recommendations and for cleanliness best practices.
We continue to have the ability to handle all customer call volumes. If you are requesting service online, by email, and/ or by phone, please be prepared to answer if anyone in your office has had any illness in the past 14 days when initiating the request. Please be aware that we are asking you to respect and will strictly enforce a social distancing standard of 6 feet between that of our onsite technician and any of our customer’s personnel or visitors. Our service technicians will continue to be vigilant and available to provide support and service with added safety protocol involving disinfecting and cleanliness being taken inside of the scope for technical repair.
We are asking all our employees to limit non-essential travel as much as possible, and we have recommended that no out-of-state travel be taken unless it is critical or of an essential nature. We have also established quarantine and medical clearance guidelines should any essential travel be required to high-risk areas.
The longer this COVID-19 pandemic continues, it should not be a surprise to anyone that there will be possible market disruptions with various items involving the supply chain. You should know that MAPS recognized this in advance and made necessary stocking level adjustments to its products anticipating a possible disruption. At this time, we do not anticipate any material, extended disruption in the delivery for any of our products or services.
We also want you to know that our executives and key members of management meet multiple times every day to make sure we are as informed, nimble, and prepared to make business adjustments as needed to ensure that the highest level standards for safety, service, and business continuity are met. Our associates are well-informed of and support our company’s positions, initiatives, and ongoing efforts in this difficult time. Together, we are a team with a family culture that appreciates and understands the importance of accountability and responsibility to each other, our company, and our customers.
Finally, you should know that we have always appreciated and recognized the business loyalty and trust given to us by our customers. We want you to know that we remain committed to providing you with our full support and we will respect your COVID-19 strategical initiatives as embedded with your current business operations. If you would like to know more about our available products and remote services that will support a remote workforce for your employees and associates, please call us at 913-599-0500 or toll free at 866-480-MAPS; email dispatch@mapsweb.com; or reach out to us in our Contact Us section here as well.
Stay vigilant and strong. Together, we will not only overcome and prevail, but we will all emerge stronger than ever before. Thank you for your continued support and trust.
